HOT TOPICS:

Viewpoint Nature Park Restoration Project

We are working with the City of Bellevue Parks Department to perform a forest restoration project on Viewpoint Nature Park. The park is an excellent example of a native mixed forest, but it is being heavily assaulted by a number of invasive plant species, most notably English ivy, English holly, and scotch broom. The first work party is to take place on September 18th from 9am to 1pm.  All tools as well as refreshments will be provided.  Come out and make a difference in your neighborhood.

FREE Picnic, Concert and Celebration of Service

The City of Bellevue is presenting an event from noon to 2pm on Saturday, September 11 on the City Hall lawn to recognize the outstanding community service efforts of Bellevue neighborhoods and to remember those who perished on September 11, 2001.  The event includes:

LIGHT RAIL IN BELLEVUE

The link below is for information regarding a neighborhood group in Bellevue who is working on a preferred light rail alternative known as "B7".  The club does not have a formal stance on a preferred alternative (there are currently 2 front runners).  We are passing this information along to our members to inform them of current issues that the city is facing.    http://www.betterbellevue.org/
